Moss Park Allotments
Moss Park is a stunning, award winning allotment site in Stretford, Manchester. Of our 54 plots, those running adjacent to one of our 2 main grass runways have a one metre wide flower border which creates a stunningly beautiful herbaceous display and provides a feast for bees and other pollinators.
See the variety of well-tended plots bursting with ideas to try at home, from insect hotels to unusual fruits and vegetables. Take tea and cake on the lawn outside the quirky society clubhouse that looks like a beamed country pub.
Our site has often been described as 'a hidden gem' as we are tucked away, down a lane, next to our friends at Stretford Cricket Club. Although our site is council managed we are in reality a self-managed site in that we certainly do our very best to keep our site in the best possible condition.
